QuickSnooker is 'shareware' Please download and evaluate the game on Windows computer before purchasing.

We (QuickSnooker) grant you a free non-exclusive, license to use the software for evaluation for 30 Days.

If it doesn't work - we will try hard to help, but we make no guarantees.

Do not try to hack the program or tamper with it's protection systems.

Do not re-sell the program without permission.

You may share the unregistered program 'as is' - or encourage others to download it (please).

If you play online be polite! Do not deliberately offend or annoy others.

Play via our server requires membership and an up-to-date version of the program

Our liability is limited to what you have paid us.

SHAREWARE VERSION IMPORTANT NOTICE Read this License Agreement carefully before using this Software. BY USING THIS SOFTWARE IN ANY WAY YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. LICENSE GRANT QuickGames grants you a non-exclusive license to test this software in Shareware version, and any associated documentation ("The Shareware"), as indicated herein.

You MAY: (a) install and use the Shareware for evaluation purpose only during 30 days after the installation;

We are responsible for the reliable operation of the game software, server, website and database.

You are responsible for (i.e. we are not obliged to support) the operation of your computer hardware, Operating System, Internet Security/Antivirus software, Firewall, Router and Internet Connection.

You must not sell the program for profit without our permission.

You may redistribute the full, unmodified setup package (qsLaunch.exe) as is, on other websites, compilations or 'stores'.

If the game is running for hundreds of other players, and not working for you, especially if it has worked for you in the past, It is reasonable to assume that there is an external compatibility issue with your hardware or software. We will (at our option) try to assist in these circumstances, but would ask you not to post defamatory comments about the game (software). Rational, accurate discussion of the symptoms/problems is perfectly acceptable, but the main support channel is email.

If you deliberately, knowingly or repeatedly offend or annoy people online you may be removed temporarily or permanently without a refund.

Cheating will not be tolerated - we reserve the right to remove or adjust scores where cheating is suspected. Quitting a game you are losing is considered very rude - however, conceding (on your turn) is OK.

If you are banned - serve your time - do not attempt to avoid a ban by buying the program again, reinstalling, reformatting etc - it will not work and you will not be refunded.

If you attempt to hack the program, It could do anything, including damaging your computer system, unmodified the program is perfectly safe.

We use our best efforts to keep the server available at all times and achieve over 99% uptime.

In the event of less than 99% uptime (per calendar month) we will extend paid accounts by double any downtime.

In the event of Force Majeure, we will endeavour to re-instate infrastructure and accounts within a reasonable time frame - accounts may *at our option* be extended by any time lost.

We cannot guarantee the permanent storage of your scores or games, Rankings may be reset periodically and statistics may be truncated, archived or erased at any time.

Play via our server requires membership - most purchased features can be used in an 'off line' mode - long term functionality or compatability is not guaranteed and outside of membership we will not provide technical support.

Our liability is limited to what you have paid us.

GDPR - Your data and what we do with it

We (QuickSnooker) advertise on Google, FaceBook and Bing - we pay them when you (potential customers) click on our adverts.

Our search partners use cookies and other technologies to track your activity on the web - you can find details in their respective GDPR statements.

PayPal is our sole payment processing partner.

If and when you make a purchase via PayPal we utilise 'conversion tracking' to attribute your purchase to a particular advertising campaign - this allows us to measure our advertising costs against sales "ROI".

If you make a purchase, Paypal expose to us some of your personal information - including the name on your account, your postal address and if you have provided it, a telephone number.

Paypal does NOT expose banking details, account balances, credit card numbers or passwords - we have NO access to your PayPal account, bank account or card details.

We do not store your postal address or telephone details on our systems.

In rare cases, If you are uncontactable via the provided email address, and solely for technical support or prize giving we may use your telephone number or postal address as provided to us in the PayPal console.

Our program, QuickSnooker collects some information from your computer to aid in technical support queries. This information includes the local machine name, the Operating System (Windows) version, the Name of the installed Firewall, and the name of the installed Antivirus.

We also collect a 'MAC address' from your network card and a 'Volume Serial Number' from your primary hard drive - this information is encrypted to form a unique 'signature' of your machine - it is used for your protection to detect suspicious activity on your account, and for ours to prevent abuse of our free trial system.

We DO NOT read any files or folders on your system or harvest ANY other information.

When you sign up - we consult a database of IP addresses to determine your country of origin - this sets your flag.

If it is incorrect (and it quite often is), you would like it removed, or you would like a more local flag (England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man) please contact support@quicksnooker.com

Other information on your account you will be familiar with, it is provided, and can be edited by you and is optional - it includes:- Your chosen player name, Your(approximate to the decade) age, gender, a photo or 'avatar' image of your choosing, your country, town and comments.

Whilst the information is optional we would ask you not to mislead - we reserve the right to remove deliberately misleading information. Information provided here is public - we encourage you NOT to use your identifiable full name as your player name.

Your password is not stored - we store only a cryptographic hash of it. We recommend you use a short, memorable password that is unique to QuickSnooker.

Our administrators and moderators may also store arbitrary textual notes regarding their interactions with you as a customer "CRM", these notes are not visible to you on your account but are available upon request.

We store a summary of each purchase made - including the Paypal Transaction Identifier, date, price and product(s) purchased.

Our systems store your playing statistics, wins, losses, scores, rankings, breaks and the date and time of each game played - these statistics are visible to you, your fellow players and anonymous users on the Internet.

We log the date, time and IP address, and computer signature of each sign in, to aid with technical support.

In-game 'chat' is not monitored or recorded, however, it is neither encrypted or 'secure' and can (and should) be screenshot or recorded by the receiving party in the event of abuse.

Your posts on the public message boards are retained for up to 30 days.

Our email system (securely hosted by Gmail) stores a permanent record of any correspondence, we consider this a "legitimate interest" to service your needs as a present and potential future consumer.

If you would like changes made to your data, your data removed entirely, or to request copies of the data - please contact support@quicksnooker.com

During your membership, we may, from time to time email you to announce major changes, enhancements or competitions.

Towards the end of your membership, you will receive an email renewal reminder.

After your membership has expired, you may receive ONE email encouraging renewal, beyond that, we may use your email address in conjunction with Google 'remarketing' to target advertisements.

You have a right to be forgotten - please email with the words FORGET ME in the title to have your account anonymised inside of membership and destroyed outside of it.
